The Skyline Lodge and Restaurant is located three miles from Highlands, North Carolina. At Skyline, there are forty seven rooms and several new luxury cabins from which to select the perfect accommodation to fit your need. If it's just the two of you, you might choose a cozy and romantic room with a private balcony to watch the sun set over the mountains in the evening, or take a room with a private terrace overlooking the gorge where you can hear the rushing river below, a room which also includes a lovely fireplace to gaze upon while sharing some bubbly.

Should you wish to have more privacy, perhaps you would prefer one of our Glade Suites located a short distance from the lodge. There is a common room with a fireplace for those cool nights. And each of the suites have a kitchenette and your own tv room with a fold out sofa. Your toughest decision here might be to decide if you'd like to relax in the outdoor jacuzzi on the main deck or gaze at the stream from the rocking chair on your porch.

Perhaps you'll be traveling with your young children and will need a larger room with two double beds. You may choose adjoining rooms if you are traveling with older children, or, if you'll be with several members of your family or friends you might rather have your own two or three bedroom luxury cabin complete with a full kitchen, laundry, hot tub and wrap around balcony. In addition, we are happy to accommodate those guests traveling with pets.
